Description:
Annals of Pittenweem: Being Notes and Extracts from The Ancient Records of that Burgh, 1526 - 1793. Anstruther” Lewis Russell, 1867. Brown cloth, burgh crest at bottom of title page; worn at top and bottom of spine, but spending still holding; signature of Balsillie, The Hermitage, Pittenweem, on fep; According to a pencil note on the copy of the book held by Cupar Library, only 100 copies were published, which would appear to be correct, as the book is very scarce today.

A reprint, published in red cloth, with title in gilt on front cover and spine; This edition published in a limited edition of 100 copies (this being No 44 of 100), and republished by the Royal Burgh of Pittenweem and District Community Council, 2009, and reprinted by the Reprographics Unit, University of St St Andrews. This is a presentation copy, with Inscription “To Grandad, Love from Tom and Keay” on front paste-down, and the signature of Keay Black on fep opposite [Ref 073 x 2]
